WHAT WE DO

Helping Men & Their Families Heal

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy revolves around three basic concepts:

MIND | BODY | SPIRIT

Valiant Living offers a unique and holistic experience to men from all walks of life. Everyone thinks they're on their own path with unique struggles, but we understand that you are not alone.

Trust us, we've seen it all.

BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY
"For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself."

- Viktor E. Frankl

Find The Path To Your True Self

"It feels like weakness to you, it's obvious strength to everyone else."  – Michael Simms, CCO

Addiction Interaction Disorder

Sometimes we're more wounded than we realize, and our potential is more than we'd ever imagine.
It's not uncommon for people to have more than one addiction. In fact, it's quite common. This is known as an addiction interaction disorder.

When someone has an addiction interaction disorder, it means that they are addicted to two or more substances or behaviors. This can make treatment very difficult, as each addiction will need to be addressed separately.

It's important to understand that an addiction interaction disorder is a real thing and not just a made-up excuse for someone who can't seem to quit anything. It's a serious condition that should be treated with care and compassion.

Multi-Disciplinary Approach

Our multidisciplinary approach to men's addiction treatment and rehabilitation for anxiety and depression is designed to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the individual's condition. The approach includes psychiatric care to address the underlying mental health issues, spiritual support to help the individual find meaning and purpose in life, a 12-step program to promote recovery, trauma therapies to address any past trauma that may be contributing to the anxiety or depression, and group case management to ensure that all aspects of the individual's care are coordinated. Additionally, we offer daily mindfulness classes and yoga classes to help our clients find peace and calm in their lives.

Family Support Groups

Your strongest asset is not yourself, but those who are most important to you.
Family support groups can play a vital role in the recovery of men suffering from addiction and mental illness. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment where men can share their experiences and receive guidance and advice from others who have been through similar challenges. Family support groups can help men to develop healthy coping mechanisms, improve communication skills, and build positive relationships with other members of the group. In addition, family support groups can provide men with a sense of belonging and purpose, which can be essential in sustaining long-term recovery.
