Part Time Therapist

Greenwood Village, CO | Part-Time

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate part time contracted Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in substance use disorders, behavioral disorders, and intimacy disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address substance use disorders, behavioral disorders, and intimacy disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and integrated care for clients.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation and support groups to enhance clients’ coping skills and resilience.
  • Conduct case management activities, including coordination of resources, referrals, and follow-up services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Provide appropriate documentation and record keeping in compliance with state, federal and accreditation regulations.
  • Complete all intake, level of change, and discharge assessments and tasks, including checklists.
  • Create and implement treatment plan goals and objectives, pulling from client’s own words and measurable objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensed or license-eligible therapist or social worker (LPC, or equivalent).
  • Experience in treating substance use disorders, behavioral disorders, and intimacy disorders.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.

Recovery Housing Technician

Fort Lupton, CO | Full-Time

Job Overview:

The Recovery Technician will be responsible for providing milieu management and ensures safety of individuals or groups in a detoxification and residential treatment program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with a patient population that is actively intoxicated and/or experiencing symptoms of withdrawal.
  • Provide safety, stability, and direction to patients.
  • Identify emergency signals and situations and react appropriately and quickly.
  • Perform accurate and timely documentation at all times, including charting of all significant interactions with patients.
  • Understands CIWA/COWS and can utilize and interpret patient MAR’s to assist the detox team in patient care.
  • Monitor and observe Urinalysis (UA) or Breath Alcohol (BA) tests as needed and documents appropriately.
  • Monitor the facility interior and exterior to ensure it is maintained and clean. Will perform cleaning and or maintenance of the facility where appropriate or directed by their supervisor.
  • Dispose of biohazard waste according to OSHA standards.
  • May assist in transporting admitted patients to hospitals, aftercare, or other approved services as directed by the detox team. May also be required to travel off site to pick up medications or supplies as needed or directed by their Supervisor. (Mileage is reimbursed by the company).
  • Will support the clinical team in running the residential program with task including but not limited too: Ensuring patients follow the group schedule and complete assignments, carrying out disciplinary matters when guidelines are not followed, running reflections groups and documenting notes in DAP format, monitoring patient phone time, assisting with aftercare or external update calls, sending documents to aftercare facilities, assisting patients with filling out paperwork, administering and entering assessments into Kipu.

Qualifications:

  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Narcan training
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License meeting organization’s requirements
  • Basic computer skills, including ability to use Microsoft, Google, and Kipu EMR software
  • Ability to write technician progress notes and summaries in prescribed style and format
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • 1 year of sobriety if in personal recovery

Working Conditions:

  • Basic physical requirements related to cleaning and at times moving furniture
  • This position is located at the Valiant Living Detox in Fort Lupton

Valiant Living is seeking a highly organized, efficient, and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our office operations and contribute to the effective execution of daily administrative tasks. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in fostering a productive and welcoming environment for both staff and clients at Valiant Living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for management as needed.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
  • Greet and assist visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
  • File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
  • Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents.
  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels to ensure seamless office operations.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Take and distribute minutes of meetings.
  • Implement and maintain office systems, including data management and filing.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Business Management, Marketing, and Leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years general office experience; 3 years of experience in customer service, finance or marketing preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and related software.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude, with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time position located at the Valiant Living office.
  • Standard office hours – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday with the possibility of occasional overtime to meet project deadlines or support event execution.
