About Gitit
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) focusing on grief, loss, and relationship issues. I have a deep passion to work with people in order to increase their self-awareness toward themselves, while focusing on their emotional, mental, and physical aspects. I have obtained my master’s degree in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University in 2013. I have a bachelor’s degree in Social Work that I practiced since 2001, and from 2014, I reside in Colorado where I practice as a mental health counselor.
I have a wide experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, including veterans, people struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, and grief. I believe that therapy needs to be targeted while addressing a pressing matter. Every person deserves to have the best opportunity to improve his or her life and get the best support they need. My goal is to help people improve their social as well as their emotional issues to help them reach mental peace.
