Shawn Brndiar is a social worker and therapist with extensive training and experience working with professionals around recovery, perfectionism, relationships, trauma and core personality struggles. Shawn previously worked at the Center for Dependency, Addiction, and Rehabilitation as the primary counselor for the men’s professional track. He expertly uses a small handful of therapies to help his clients live a rich, full, meaningful life. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and Addiction Studies in 2013 and his Master of Social Work in 2015 from Metropolitan State University of Denver; he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Clinical Social Work from the Institute of Clinical Social Work in Chicago with an estimated date of completion Spring 2020. Shawn is also adjunct faculty at MSU Denver, teaching in the Department of Human Services. Mr. Brndiar has been with his partner for 15 years and they have a house full of furry friends – An American Eskimo named Earl Lee Byrd and a Pomeranian named Rex, along with three cats Clio, Abby, and Oogie.
