Jenn earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2020 at Denver Seminary and her bachelor’s degree in education in 2013 at the University of Texas in Austin. She is currently working toward obtaining her license in professional counseling (LPC). Jenn has clinical experience as an individual and group therapist in an outpatient addiction setting through her master’s program. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and attachment theory in her work with clients.
Jenn’s passion for working with adults recovering from addiction has grown as she witnesses the courage it takes to continually choose recovery, one day at a time. From her own personal experience, Jenn believes that healing happens through genuine connection with God, others, and oneself. She is passionate about walking with people through their stories and helping them find healing, purpose, and hope for their future. Jenn loves the beauty of the mountains, coffee, learning every word to a song, exercising, traveling, and the color purple.
“It is not proving ourselves to be better than others but confessing to be just like others that is the way to healing and reconciliation.” – Henri Nouwen
