Brett’s life-long mission has simply been to help people thrive. He draws on his extensive experience as a classroom teacher and independent school executive, as well as his training and experience as a therapist to help clients realize their goals. At Valiant, he specializes in working with intimacy and family issues. His warm and compassionate demeanor gives clients the space to collaboratively explore the things that may be blocking them from becoming their truest and best selves while helping them move forward with hope and healing.
Brett holds an undergraduate degree in clinical psychology and two master’s degrees, an MA in education and a MA in counseling with an emphasis in clinical mental health. He has completed extensive post-graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy at Denver Family Institute and draws on a variety of therapeutic techniques in his work with individuals, couples and families. Additionally, Brett is a Level I Certified Clinician in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT).
